Google Adsense : When you start your blog and your adding article after article and you decide that you want to turn that blog in to a money making blog then all you have to do is get a google adsense account. Go to google.com and type in google adsense and then click the first search link that will send you to the google adsense account homepage. It's very simple when you register for google adsense. During the process their going to ask you for your URL// and that is the name of your blog for example my URL is http://www.mybloggingjournal.blogspot.com/. That's the blog that your reading now. Google Adsense ads are links that show up on the side, top, or bottom of your blog. You earn money when viewers come to your page and read your content and if they happen to click one of the links that google adsense place on your blog then you can earn between $ 0.05 to $1.00 a click (sometimes a click can be more than $ 1.00. This is called pay-per-click advertising and that means you get paided everytime someone clicks one of your ads. Google Adsense is one the mose popular and simplest ways that bloggers use to generate income from the internet. There are other pay-per-click advertisers such as yahoo! publisher network, bid vertiser, chitika, and clicksor. They all have the same concept execpt their payout might be a little different. To find out more about these different advertisers you should google them, but for right now I'm going to focus more on Google Adsense than anything else because it's free to use and it's very very easy to understand. Before you can use google adsense you have to have your blog or website up for at least six months before google will accept it. If you want to use google adsense as soon as you start your blog then I would suggest http://www.blogger.com/, or http://www.wordpress.com/. With these two you can set up a blog with ease and you can start making money right away. See more with one of my post "How to start your own blog" under "Basic Blogging"
Affiliate Marketing: Affiliate Marketing is another popular way to make money when you have a website or a blog. The way that affiliate marketing works is when your blogging about a certian subject and you want to recommend products based on what your writing about then you can add those products to your blog and if someone clicks on that picture of the product or the link it sends them to another website where they can buy that product. If that person buys that product then you get a % of the purchase. It can be as much as 75% of what ever that particular product costs. Some known affiliate's are http://www.cj.com/, http://www.clickbank.com/, http://www.linkshare.com/,. In order to have affiliates on your blog you have to already have a blog or a website up. CPM Advertising: CPM advertising stands for Cost-Per-Impression and that's when you earn money when someone comes to your website. When someone just simply comes to your website or blog you earn money just as you would with google adsense except they don't click on a link. CPM Advertising is just as popular as google adsense but you won't make alot of money from your blog if you don't have enormous traffic coming to your site so this would be for someone who has a blog up for awhile and has established a really good reputation. Some CPM advertisers are http://www.casalemedia.com/, http://www.burstmedia.com/, http://www.valueclick.com/, http://www.advertising.com/, http://www.tribalfusion.com/, http://www.rightmedia.com/
